After high school Tony Stockman attended Clemson University. • Stockman was the top sophomore scorer in the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2001-02 overall and in conference games. He averaged 12.2 points per game overall and 14.1 in ACC regular-season contests. • Finished his sophomore season with 80 3-point field goals, which tied for fifth in Clemson history in a single season. • In just two seasons at Clemson, he connected on 155 3-pointers, the fourth-best total in Clemson history. • Nearly 65 percent of his made field goals at Clemson were 3-point shots. • Averaged 12.1 points in 59 career games at Clemson. • Scored a career-high 30 points at North Carolina in last regular season game of the 2001-02 season, a contest in which he scored 28 of Clemson's 40 points in the first half. • Tied a Clemson single-game record with eight 3-point goals vs. North Carolina, all came in the first half. He also had 30 points in a 118-115 double-overtime win over Wake Forest. He scored 716 in his two years at Clemson.

Tony's Career Overseas

Tony’s first year playing professional basketball in Europe was with L’Hermine Atlantique in Nantes, France in 2006. In 34 games played, he lead his team with an average of 16.7 ppg, made 88 3-pointers and shot 72% from the free throw line. In his best game during is ’06 season in France, he scored 34 points, he was 7 of 12 from 2 pointers at 58%; he was 5 of 6 from 3-pointers shooting 83%; and 5 of 6 from the free throw line also shooting 83%; in a 95-88 victory over Levallois. Tony started out his ’07 season with the Galil Elyon, in Israel. In the Israeli league in 7 games he averaged 12 points, shooting 43% from the 3-point line, and 80% from the free throw line. In two games in the Men’s Israeli Cup he averaged 15.5 points, shooting 58% from the two, 41/7% from the three, and 100% from the free throw line. In the Eurocup Challenge, where they played teams from Greece, Cypress, and Czech Repulic in 6 games, he averaged 12.7 points, shooting 46.2% from two, and 42.9% from three, and 70% from the free throw line. In his best Israeli games, he scored 24 points, 3 of 7 from the 2 point, 5 of 8 from the 3-point 62%, 3 for 4 from the free throw line at 75%, against BK Prostejov. In a game against Pizzaexpress he was 3 of 3 from two pointers at 100%, 5 of 6 from the 3-pointers at 83%, scoring 21 points.

Ben Falkenburg:

Ben's High School Career

In high school Ben, a 5-foot-11 point guard from Wadsworth, Ohio, averaged 21.3 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.9 steals per game as a senior at Wadsworth High School in 2003-2004 while shooting 49.4 percent from the field, 48.6 percent from three-point range, and 90.2 percent at the free throw line. For his efforts during the season that helped his team to a 20-3 record, Ben was named to the Division I All-Ohio First Team, the Cleveland Plain Dealer First Team, the Sun Newspapers First Team, and the Medina County First Team. He also was selected as the Akron Beacon Journal Player of the Year, the Greater Akron Basketball Coaches Association Senior Player of the Year, the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Medina, Summit, and Portage Counties Player of the Year, the Northeast Ohio Inland District Co-Player of the Year, and the only two-time Medina County Player of the Year. • Ben guided Wadsworth High to a 57-10 record in his three years as the starting point guard that included a 20-0 regular-season record in 2002-2003. • Shot 50.6 percent from the three-point arc (123-of-253) and 89.4 percent from the free throw line (219-for-245) for his career. • Career free throw percentage would rank first in Ohio high school history if he had attempted five more free throws to meet the minimum attempts of 250. • Ranks third in school history with 1,031 career points, and he set the school single-game scoring record with a district tournament-record 46 points against Hudson High School on March 6, 2004..

Ben's Career at MVNU

After high school Ben attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University, a NAIA university in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Ben will be a senior next season and has already enjoyed three stellar seasons as a combo guard for MVNU. Last season (junior year) he led the Cougars in scoring and ranked in the top 10 in NAIA Division II by averaging 21.5 points. • Nailed a team-leading 126 three-pointers to rank in the top five in the nation in three-pointers made per game (4.1) and ranked second in free throw percentage (91.7 percent). • Also handed out a career-high 111 assists with just 62 turnovers to go with 52 rebounds and 27 steals. • Shot 47.6 percent from the field (220-for-462) and 43.4 percent from three-point range (126-for-290) while making 99-of-108 free throw attempts. Ben finished the season just three points shy of 2,000 for his career as he became the highest-scoring junior in school history. • Ranks fifth on MVNU’s career scoring list with 1,997 points, third with 354 three-pointers made, and fifth with 331 free throws made. • Named NCCAA East Region Player of the Year for the second straight year, also became only the second player in any sport at MVNU to be named to the NAIA All-American First Team twice in his career. As a sophomore Ben led MVNU in scoring and ranked fourth in NAIA Division II as he averaged 24.0 points per game while setting the school’s single-season scoring record with 743 points. • Led all NAIA Division II players with 120 three-pointers made and he was in the top five in the country in free throw percentage at 89.8 percent (123-for-137). • Dished out 81 assists and was second on the team with 29 steals. For his efforts, Falkenberg was named both the AMC South Division and NCCAA East Region Player of the Year. • Became the 30th player in school history to top 1,000 points as he accomplished the feat quicker than any other MVNU player (53 games). For his effort, Ben became only the third MVNU men’s basketball player to be named to the NAIA Division II All-American First Team. As a freshman Ben broke the MVNU freshman scoring record with 589 points while helping his team to a school record 27 wins. • For the season he averaged 16.4 ppg and 2.3 assists while shooting 43.5% from the three point line and 86.5 % from the free throw line. • Became the first freshman to score at least 30 points three times on route to his American Mideast Conference Newcomer of the Year award.
